a walk in the garden

Have you ever seen a tea tree? Do you know the Sumaúma, the tree up to 70 meters high, with its gigantic roots, sacred to the Huni Kuin Indians – which was a favorite of Tom Jobim?
The Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro is an unforgettable experience for those who appreciate nature, are interested in the diversity of plants, and also for the ones who like to enjoy the view (it’s a incredible scenery for photos!). Besides the diversity of flowers, the Botanical Garden has historical curiosities that make everything more interesting, like, for example, the oldest house in the South zone of Rio!
Do you know what it is better? You cant get to our Garden wlaking and complete this delicious day! It’s a 10 minute walk here – our tip is to get the side exit, located in Pacheco Leão street.
But it’s not all about the nature! As you walk by the neightbourhood you’ll find some adorable and exclusive stores! Dona Coisa and the Office are some examples! They’re perfect for fashion and decor lovers! Most of them are located at Rua Lopes Quintas, where the great poet Vinicius de Moraes was born. Enjoy!
